Push Yourself Tell You Can't No More!

Its Monday and I got a case of fitness lol ok so I'm back from my resting day and did chest and back today with ab ripperX. After my resting day I have lots of energy to push through out the whole Monday which is great. I love that feeling after your done with your workout and you want more and more tell you cant no more. So after an hour of P90x I did my same routine cardio after, I only do half an hour but today and on days that I feel like I can go more I go for 45 mins or longer until I feel the burn. I don't want to destroy my whole body yet because I still got a second workout to finish later in the day. If you have the energy and feel its not enough after p90x go for gold and push until you can't no more. i.e go for a run after jog outside. Don't be a hero if you feel like your pushing way out of your league, stop and slow down. Here's a fav quote I found yesterday maybe some of you would like it. "This is where it matters the most. Weight Loss Tips

So today is my weigh in day and I loss 6 pounds in a week which brings me to a total of 32 pounds lost so far, which is great I love getting on that scale to see my weight after a hard weeks of work. So I'm gonna give you some weight loss tips from my point of view.

1. Exercise is essential for weight loss, its nothing new when you hear this but just don't think cause you don't eat alot you'll lose weight fast you need  to exercise. Some people would say I don't have time, well you have time to watch TV, Surf the Internet, etc.. Everyone has at least 5-30 mins that they can use to exercise everyday. If you like watch TV put the treadmill in front of the TV or put on your ipod on before you know 30 mins are up and you just got healthier. If you get bored working out alone grab a friend or join a support group like my P90x Army. Exercise is essential for weight loss.

2. Strength Training  is important as well, the more muscle tissue you have the more calories you burn, so ladies don't but afraid of bigger weights those tiny weights aren't gonna help you lose weight in the time you want. While aerobic exercise can help with your weight loss  burning lots of calories but muscle is an active tissue and fat is not so muscle will burn a lot of calories every  day on its own maintenance.

3. Stay Healthy stop thinking about being thin and focus on being healthy stop worrying about numbers and worry about your health. The more you stress out the more you'll gain weight because we all now stress is a major weight gain for everyone. Remember the food pyramid in school whole grains, all vegetables, especially green vegetables, raw vegetables and salads. Also stay away from processed foods cause they contain unhealthy fats and chemicals that will make your system less healthy and efficient. So remember stay health and don't worry about the numbers take care of your body.

4. Goals are to be set at the highest possible but don't expect to lose 30 pounds in a month. Cause your body is gonna be in shock when you start working out. Your body is gonna have to get use that your working out everyday and your body has to get with the program. Many people don't see weight loss after 45 days so you gotta stay strong and keep exercising everyday. Don't weigh your self everyday or you'll just go crazy pick one day out of the week like Sunday to weigh your self. Also weigh your self when you wake up after you use the bathroom. If you weigh your self in the middle of the day your numbers aren't gonna be right cause of all the foods you been eating and drinking through out the whole day. Make you goals high but do expect it to happen in a month, your body wasn't built in 30 days it takes time to get the body you want hard work comes along way and at the end you'll be happy and have a new you and life.

5. Nutrition Facts learn how to read the labels and read the ingredients the first item on the ingredients is also what they have alot of in it. If the ingredients look like a science quiz where you cant pronounce half the stuff its probably not good for your body. HFCS High Fructose Corn Syrup that stuff is bad for you stay away from that, it tricks your body to think your not full until you eat alot more then gain weight so pay attention to your food labels. Its The Weekend!!!!

Just  got done with kempoX and some cardio after didn't go outside for a run yet but I will after I do some work. But today is Saturday who's happy? lol stupid question everyone is happy. The reason why I'm happy about Saturday is because today is the day before my weigh in and the only day that I have to go out and have fun. On the other days I workout 2-3 hours everyday plus bonus workouts don't get me wrong I have fun when  I workout too, but its nice to hang out with some friends. So tonight I'm going downtown to see the technofest and see whats that's all about, if that's not cool I'll just go to the casino and hit up the bars and clubs in there with my friends. Still got another workout left and can"t wait for it then gotta get my haircut its getting to long for me. Also I hope I drop some major weight tomorrow, cant wait to see how my weeks of hard work paid off. No matter how big or how small the number I'll be happy you always gotta celebrate the small victories. Another thing is to keep in mind its ok to go out and have fun don't worry about cheating on your diet, just go out have fun then use Sunday as a rest day like I do. One thing that gets alot of people out of there diets and exercise routine is peer pressure from there friends. Just make sure you tell them that you just cant eat and drink certain stuff because you are tryin to lose weight and get back in shape. Then of course you'll have that one friend that will say come on just one wont hurt, but you got say no and stay committed. You gotta believe in yourself and tell your self you can do it and you will do it and have a new life. The life you always wanted then you can help others get to that point and there is no greater feeling then that. I Want Pizza!!

Today I was doing my second workout and smelled pizza lol I haven't had pizza in about 6 months I wanted a slice but told myself no. Dose anyone know of a healthy pizza to make at home or buy at the store? I seen some online but I rather hear from you guys. Theres a lots of food I would love to eat but I cant and I will not cheat on my diet. But I'll think I'll have a slice in a year, 2011 lol What other healthy good foods that you guys know of ? Any organic? I want you guys to stay strong and stay away from you favorite food that's bad for you and especially fast food like I tell my friend Dave why would they sell a hamburger for a dollar it must be healthy lol not.

Legs and Back with AB RipperX!!

Woke at 5am ate did legs and back with abs and some cardio after P90x, man oh man was I, I mean am sore right now but feels good. Doing legs and back is a really good workout I defiantly use weights and the only thing I hate is the wall squat man that sucks lol. Then after that did some cardio on the elliptical then went outside for a run around then block a few times for some fresh air, came back showered ate a snack feeling good! For some people who just started P90x I wouldn't use weights at first watch how they do the workout first then once you get stronger add the weights. Like Tony said its not about quantity its about quality, but I like to be crazy and do both and push as hard as I can. First timers I would take it easy but not to easy start off by getting to know the moves first. Also you don't have to do cardio like i do after P90x I do it cause I like it and once I get pumped after P90x I just keep on going tell I can't. Tip of the day QUALITY OVER QUANTITY.

Going On Vacation Or Out Of Town???

If your going on vacation or out of town you can take P90x with you or if you just wanna relax just make sure to get some exercise when your away for home because if you don't watch what you eat and how long you stay up your gonna get outta shape quickly cause if you eat at 6pm for dinner and stay up tell 3am your gonna get hungry those late nightt snacks aren't gonna help you see results. Also stay away from fast food its going to be hard when on vacation or out of town but try your best, another reason to stay away from fast food is because I saw this documentary maybe some of you would like it, its called Food Inc and it changed my life. I'm going to end this saying if you didn't do P90x in a week don't sweat it start off where you left off and just bring it when you start again, and if your on vacation just go for a walk in the nice weather depending on where your going. YogaX

Today's a good day just got done with yogaX and some cardio on the elliptical. I still can't do some moves in yogaX but i still try my best to do them but I'm not going to try to do crane though lol I'll break my arms. I weigh in on Sundays hopefully I'll be back in the 200 area if not that's ok gotta celebrate the small victories every time you lose weight not matter how much your still reaching your goal. I think it should be nice all day today in the high 80s so ill probably go for a walk outside, I'll post some updates on what I'm doing on twitter if you follow me, if not look to your right and click follow me. My legs are still hurting but it feels good to me lol now time for some carrots and water new blog after second workout lates.

LEGS ARE ON FIRE!!!

So I'm done with today's workout just did 30 mins on the elliptical burned about 500 cals then went outside to cool off, end up walking around my neighborhood while on the phone more cals burned lol my legs were killing me at the end. I should get one of those things that they use to track your cals burned like on The Biggest Loser, I also need a heart rate monitor. Ok so I found out it was called The Biggest Loser BodyBugg a little to pricey for me. I also found a good heart rate monitor that I'm going to buy its the Omron HR-100c what do you think about it? I'll probably buy it. So that's ends my day I'm just gonna have a snack before dinner then bed. Tip of the day stay hydrated with water and electrolytes like G2 I bought some today at Sams Club you'll know if you follow me on twitter. Good Night

So i just finished my workout today but not completely done for today still got one more workout, I worked out my back, biceps and abs with some cardio on the elliptical I'll post a image of what kind of machine I use. So did anyone catch The Biggest Loser last night? it was awesome that Mike won and Koli won as well. That's just me a whole lot of motivation to push harder. They workout harder than me everyday i mean i workout 2 hours to 2 and a half at the most, but they workout 6-8 hours a day know that's hard core. Its just not about working out its about eat well and healthy and taking care of your body. I was reading this book that I want you guys to check out The Cure : Heal Your Body, Save Your Life by Dr. Timothy Brantley. There's a few pics for you guys.

Love it!

So just got done with my second work out of the day. Do you guys know that feeling your body gets after a good workout ? sore right well i love that feeling lol. Feeling that makes me feel like i did something right, like the TV ad if it burns it must be working. I'll post up some pictures  of the machines i use at home to show you guys and maybe throw in a pic of me haha. Bring It!!! Motivation

Alright just got done with my workout and feeling great. I love everyday when i wake up and just have that motivation to bring it as hard as i can. Don't you guys feel good after a good workout? Let me know with a comment below. I feel great every day cause i workout every day I see it as every day your not working out its a day your wasting and not being healthy, everyday you are workout that every day your get healthy and bettering your self. That's what motivates me to bring it everyday just knowing that I'm being healthy and changing my life one day at a time, like tony said Rome wasn't built in a day and i always like that saying. Another motivation for me is reading your guys stories and on beachbody.com seeing people change there life and taking charge. Oh and another is the TV show The Biggest Loser hands down the best show ever. I feel like working out after I watch it lol but by the night time i"m pooped out. So tonight I'm going to watch the last episode of the biggest loser and sleep.

This Video Made Me Change My Life!!!

Questions???

So today I just got done with my first workout in week 10 chest, shoulders and triceps with ab ripper x. Then after that i did some cardio on the elliptical. Some people ask what do you eat after the exercise ? well I eat veggies like carrots and some fruit but not to much and have some water with that. Then comes the question where do you get your electrolytes from i don't like to drink those sports drink so i drink smartwater. Then some of my friends ask me what do I eat all day cause they don't see me eating. Well i eat on a schedule i wake up at 5am and eat some oatmeal with a little v8 fusion wait about an hour then workout. Then after that i have I little snack like i said some carrots. Then lunch time comes around 11am then I make my self a sandwich with organic wheat bread, organic cheese, organic lettuce, organic tomato, organic turkey, and some organic mustard then an organic banana and water than that's lunch. After lunch I go outside for a little bit walk around get some fresh air then about 1pm i start my second workout on the elliptical for 30 to 45 mins. Ok now snacks before dinner time I eat fruits veggies and some almonds not at the same time. Ok now its dinner time around 6pm depend on the day and what i feel ill make like some organic steak the size of the mouse of your computer with some asparagus. Then its off to bed at 8 or 9pm and do all over again the next day and i love it.

Some Stuff I Forgot to Say.

The program i'm using to work out in is P90x some of you may have seen the tv ads late at night. I'm also using a BodyFit Elliptical machine that i got for $280 online. Oh and also have a EatSmart Precision digital scale to weigh myself got it on amazon for a good price, and im also using free weights. I dont have a yoga mat but i still do yoga i think i should get one my knees are hurting alot lol. I was think of putting some before and after pics of myself on here but idk yet ill wait and see maybe you guys and girls dont wanna see that lol.

So let me start of by saying my name is Alfred and i've been working out since mid march. I currently weigh 307 my start off weight was 333. So far i did a great job in losing 26 pounds of FAT! my goal is to reach 180 pounds in one year. It's going to be a tough journey but i'm ready for a life changing experience. I'm still learning new things about weight lost everyday which helps alot usually Google it lol my diet is organic food only no fast food what so ever. anybody that wants to lose weight gotta say away from process foods, start reading the labels on what you buy and look online to see what should be in the foods you eat. So anyways that's whats on my mind right now i will post a new blog every week on Sunday that's when i weigh myself first thing in the morning after the bathroom lol and ill probably post a few more things later on in the day.
